Based at our Malta location, Our Software Engineer will develop high-quality solutions for complex financial problems. Experienced and diligent in their coding, our Software Engineer should be independent and determined. With great time management skills, they prioritize work accordingly. This role is tasked with the following responsibilities:
Work in a cross-functional team to collaborate on software
Keep up to date with technology trends in the industry
Participate in the design and planning phases of a project
Able to write code in a timely fashion
Proficient in evaluating different options and approaches (and avoid over-engineering solutions)
Diagnose and resolve issues and defects identified in code
3+ years of experience in a similar position
Experience with server-side/back-end languages and technologies particularly Java, Spring, Hibernate
Familiarity with micro-services and tools associated with such an architecture
